Mount St. Mary’s Men in D.C. to March for Life
01.27.17A busload of Mount St. Mary’s seminarians, accompanied by Fr. Tom McQuillen, Fr. David Endres and Fr. Tony Stephens, arrived in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, January 26 for the annual March for Life that took place on Friday, January 27.
Fr. Benedict O'Cinnsealaigh, rector of Mount St. Mary's Seminary, joined the contingent from Mount St. Mary’s in D.C. on Friday for the March. After celebrating Mass at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception they joined the March to the National Mall before heading to the Supreme Court.
The annual March for Life draws an average of 400,000 pro-life supporters calling for an end to legalized abortion in the United States.
Joining our men were Honduran seminarians who arrived at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in January to fine-tune their English and experience the American culture.
