MTSM Announces 2020-2021 Pastoral Internships

08.20.20

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) announces the Pastoral Internships for Seminarians for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Pastoral Internships are required for MTSM Seminarians in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati following their years of studying Pre-Theology and Theology and is the mid-point of their formation toward the priesthood.

“The Pastoral Internship year is an excellent opportunity for the Seminarians to engage in the life of a parish, to apply what they have learned in their seminary formation and to grow in their discernment of God’s call,” said Fr. Chris Geiger, Director of Apostolic Works & Internship Program at MTSM. “The relationship between the Seminarian and the parish is a great help to both, and we are incredibly grateful to the pastors and their parishes who are welcoming Seminarians into their communities this year.”

Below are the 2020-2021 Pastoral Interns and the parishes where they will serve:

Patrick Blenman: St. Mary Parish, Bethel and St. Peter Parish, New Richmond

Isaiah Callan: St. Remy Catholic Church, Russia

Alex Dugas: Petersburg Pastoral Region-St. John the Evangelist Parish, St. Joseph Church, St Lawrence Parish, Immaculate Conception Church

Stephen Hughes: St. Monica-St. George, Cincinnati

Jonathan Jergens: Coldwater Cluster-Holy Trinity Parish, St. Anthony Parish, St. Mary Parish

Jeffrey Stephens: St. Patrick Church, Troy and Church of the Transfiguration, West Milton
