Newlyweds Paige and Leo Feldmann want to run their household with God at the center.
In November 2019, they joined the Bishop Fenwick Society through a monthly donation. They see this as an investment in the Catholic community of the Cincinnati area for years to come.
The couple met in 2015 at a bonfire held at Northern Kentucky University’s Catholic Newman Center. Leo was getting his master’s degree in accounting and Paige was completing her bachelor’s degree in data science. They connected instantly and began dating 11 days later.
After finishing their education, they both found passion in their careers. Paige works for Great American Insurance as a business analyst for the Annuity Group. After graduate school, Leo spent time in public accounting, specializing in the areas of tax and corporate accounting. He now works as the financial officer for a faith-based credit union in Anderson Township.
Paige and Leo were married in May 2019 at St. Mary’s in Hyde Park. They are active parishioners and have been involved in Voyage, the St. Mary’s young adult group for four years, and lead a monthly rosary group together.
They are also affiliated with Behold, a recurring young adult adoration event at St. Mary’s. At this event, they have come to know several seminarians from the Athenaeum of Ohio.
“The wisdom, generosity, and courage of the seminarians we met were evident,” said Paige. “It really inspired us to learn more about the Athenaeum of Ohio.”
According to Paige, “Leo and I recently answered our call to the vocation of marriage. We give to the Athenaeum of Ohio because we want to give back to others who are answering the call to their own vocation.”
Paige continues, “The Athenaeum is teaching seminarians who will one day baptize our children and grandchildren, nourish us weekly through the Eucharist, bring us Reconciliation, and marry or ordain our children.”
Leo adds, “The greatest thing the Athenaeum provides is formation for spiritual fathers. The enthusiasm we see in the seminarians and young priests throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky is phenomenal.”
Paige and Leo are excited about their future together. They are enjoying the new adventures of marriage and just closed on a house in Anderson Township. They are eager to learn more about each other through this journey of marriage.
Please consider joining Paige and Leo and making a gift to the Athenaeum of Ohio today! During these unprecedented times, we need your gift more than ever to achieve our mission.
We are grateful for your generosity and hope you take great pride in the important difference that your gift makes for future priests, deacons and lay ministers.
