Three New Priests for the Diocese of Tulsa
07.05.17Bishop David A. Konderla ordained Father Duy Nguyen and Father David Webb on May 27 at Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Father Juan Grajeda on June 24 at San Miguel parish in Cocula, Mexico.
Among those present from Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, at the May 27 ordination, were Father Anthony Brausch, Father Tony Stephens, C.P.M. as well as seminarians Deacon Jarred Kohn, Deacon Victor Moratin, Deacon Andy Smith, Deacon Jacob Willig, James Porter, Manuel Lazaro, Br. Nathan Mudd, Br. Joseph Morgan and Br. Gabriel Heidbreder. Father Thomas Reagan, C.P.M., ordained June 2016, also made the trip to Tulsa.
Newly ordained priests, Father Duy and Father David, celebrated the June 24 ordination of their classmate, Juan Grajeda, along with Mount St. Mary’s seminarian Deacon Jacob Willig.
The new priests will be assigned as Associate Pastors to parishes in the Diocese of Tulsa.
Father Duy Nguyen will serve as Associate Pastor of the Church of St. Mary and part-time chaplain at Bishop Kelley High School, effective July 1.
Father David Webb will serve as Associate Pastor of Christ the King and part-time chaplain at Bishop Kelley High School, effective August 1.
Father Juan Grajeda will serve as Associate Pastor of St. John Before the Latin Gate in Bartlesville, effective July 3.
